Saul to Paul Choosen

But God choose Him!
When God chooses who He wants to preach this Gospel, their background and education is irrelevant!

Saul, a Pharisee, a man that greatly persecuted Christians and even put some to death, was used by God greatly to reach thousands for Christ! Saul was found on a journey on the road to Damascus. He was headed that way to jail and murder Christians.

But God! God got a hold of Saul’s heart that day. For three days he sat blind unable to see anything. He did not eat nor drink for those three days.

I wonder what went through His mind after meeting the true and living God in His blindness! I wonder if God show how blind he truly was, by taking away Saul‘s sights so that he could only concentrate on the being in God’s presences and the true gospel!

God went on to change not only Saul’s life completely that day, but also got rid of his former past by changing his name from Saul to Paul!

God did the same for you and I when we accepted Him as Lord and Savior of our life! No longer bond by are past but a new creation  in Christ Jesus! The Bible goes on to say old thing have passed away behold we are new! Now that should get you shouting and rejoicing !

Today Paul’s letters and life is still reaching many as they read this Bible !
Take this lesson from Paul’s Life, no matter what your past may be, remember, YOUR CHOSEN!!

Acts 9:13-15 (NKJV)
13 Then Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much harm he has done to Your saints in Jerusalem. 14 And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on Your name.”

15 But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children[b] of Israel.

Have a Bless day Love Sis Rashida ❤️

Pillar of Salt Syndrome

What in the world are looking you back for? Your past? What you could have, should have done? Hurts? Let me start with a story about Lot’s wife. For those that do not know this story or need just a little reminder, do you remember the woman who turns into a pillar of salt? Lot`s wife was a woman in the bible who turn into a pillar of salt, because she looked back at her past. Lot`s wife was warned by angels, to not look back at the city of Sodom and Gomorrah where she and her family had once dwelt. God had sent angels to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. Sodom and Gomorrah was a city ruled by sexual perversion and every other sin in the book. Therefore, God sent two angels to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. But First God brought Lot and his family out of the city that their life might be saved.

Let us fast forward to Lot’s wife. Now the angel of the Lord specifically warns lot’s family to not look back as the city while it was being destroyed. However, Lot’s wife chooses to look back and she h…

Green Tomatoes

I am a mother and a wife, and my life is always busy. So very often my chats with God, are during those quick moments of silence.

I could be washing dishes, doing laundry or preparing a meal. It’s those moments I hear His whispers, because my spirit is silent.

Green Tomatoes !! Okay, God I have green tomatoes . Look again, and realize why they are not ripening as quickly as you like them too. I hear him gently whisper to my spirit.

My mother has a vegetable garden in her backyard which has green tomatoes and red tomatoes . Sometimes we pick the green tomatoes, and bring it inside and allow them to turn red from the sunlight . My mother then places her green tomatoes on her kitchen window shelf, where the sun can directly hit them.

Her tomatoes always ripen quickly. If those tomatoes are not in the direct sunlight they take awhile to turn red. Allot longer then being in the sun.

In this Christ life, God wants us mature like those red tomatoes! Ready to be eaten and used. He dose not want u…

What is the purpose of life ?

One thing I am learning in life, is don’t waste anymore time! All that time and energy I have wasted complaining about things I can not change, can be time and energy well spent moving forward!

Keep pressing in, it does get better, if you just keep moving forward in Christ❤️

Philippians 3:12-14
Pressing Toward the Goal
12 Not that I have already attained,or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. 13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
