Running on E

Oh God you are so Good!
My van was on E! Let me take that back, it was literally pass the E mark on my gas gauge! I loaded up all my kids, into my van and I said a prayer to make it to the gas station. However, half way down the street, I realized that I had forgotten my wallet!

Sighs...

I quickly turn back around and headed back home to grab my wallet at home . After finally making it to the gas station, I then remembered that the bank card I needed was in my coat pocket, at home !

Lord, I am heading back home once again on E!!!! I head back home, grab my bank card, and tell the kids to continue to press in prayers ! Pray we make it there or we are going to have to call Carlos Alfonso ( Carlos is a sweet friend that always is so helpful, he is a blessing to many) for a push if this vehicle shuts off! LOL😂

In the end we made it to the gas station and got a full tank of gas .

There are days when we feel like we can’t make it! We are tired and we feel like we are on E physically and men…

Calmness of being Still

Be STILL and know that He is God...

We live in a world were it’s go, go, go, go! It has to be done right now ! We have to give a reply back right now! We need to give a defense right now! We need an answer right now!!

But God is calling us to BE STILL! You see, when we purposely stop what we are doing. When we tune everything out that wants our immediate attention and wait on God. Then we can hear from God clearly.

One of my favorite verses to quote, that causes me to pause, be still,
and seek God’s direction, says this...

Philippians 4:6-7
6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

When we allow our Spirit to be still, then We can clearly hear from God, the answers that we our seeking.

Psalm 46:10 (NIV)
10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
