The Blessings of God

And everything that you put your hands to SHALL prosper! These are the gracious words in the bible that can be found in, Psalms chapter 1.

I have found that there are very few TEACHING churches ,but allot GET rich churches. Churches that teach less on the foundation of living for Christ and more about how to rub the magical genie in the bottle and make a wish! Churches that have forgotten the keys, that open up the blessings of Heaven, which is men and women who have a heart for Christ! A heart to see souls won over to Christ, the sick being healed, and the oppressed being set free!

The bible clearly promises us, that if we "seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all His righteousness all things shall be added unto us". However, we must remember it comes with a condition, and that condition is to seek Christ FIRST!
(Matthew 6:33)!

It is very sad, that we live in a generation that would rather seek after THINGS, than to have a personal relationship with our Heavenly Father. No longer are we a church being led by the Spirit of Christ, but a church motivated by earthly possessions! Note this verse

(1 Timothy 6:10For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.)

There is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to prosper here on earth; because with our prosperity, we are more than able to bless others, that God has placed in our life`s! Remember we are called to be the body of Christ and through our hands and feet we do the works of Christ!
(1 Corinthians 12:27)

Prosperity is part of being a Christian, for God has called us to live this life and live this life abundantly.( see John 10:10)

However, God did not call us to have prosperity to be the main focus of every sermon in Church, while the deaf, mute, blind and wheel chair bonded people come to church each Sunday and leave the same! Instead of reaching out to others, we are more concern with wealth, till it consumes every area of our life`s!

If we want the blessing of the Lord to chase us down, all we need to do is to LIVE for Christ. Don`t get consume with chasing down THINGS, that gets us distracted from the true meaning of salvation. But live for God and all these things will find us!

Here are some simple rules that can be put into place, which will assure that the blessing of God will not only pour out into our life`s; but also literally chase us down!

Matthew 6:19
 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal;

Place God first in all that you do, live for him and with the knowledge that there is a greater place, that we will all be one day, which is heaven.

Do as the bible tells you, and go into the world, and preach the Gospel, winning lost souls for Christ!

Have a Heart like the mighty men and women in the bible, which there only concern was to live a life pleasing to God!

Spend time in prayer and reading the bible daily, thus building your relationship with Christ

When you live for Christ, you will be like Job a wealthy man in the bible! Like King David, Ester, Abraham, Moses and we all know King Solomon was blessed greatly by the Lord, for He love the Lord.
( see 1 King chapter3) These men and women had one thing in common, and that is that they all sought first the Kingdom of God!

Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Pillar of Salt Syndrome

What in the world are looking you back for? Your past? What you could have, should have done? Hurts? Let me start with a story about Lot’s wife. For those that do not know this story or need just a little reminder, do you remember the woman who turns into a pillar of salt? Lot`s wife was a woman in the bible who turn into a pillar of salt, because she looked back at her past. Lot`s wife was warned by angels, to not look back at the city of Sodom and Gomorrah where she and her family had once dwelt. God had sent angels to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. Sodom and Gomorrah was a city ruled by sexual perversion and every other sin in the book. Therefore, God sent two angels to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. But First God brought Lot and his family out of the city that their life might be saved.

Let us fast forward to Lot’s wife. Now the angel of the Lord specifically warns lot’s family to not look back as the city while it was being destroyed. However, Lot’s wife chooses to look back and she h…

Green Tomatoes

I am a mother and a wife, and my life is always busy. So very often my chats with God, are during those quick moments of silence.

I could be washing dishes, doing laundry or preparing a meal. It’s those moments I hear His whispers, because my spirit is silent.

Green Tomatoes !! Okay, God I have green tomatoes . Look again, and realize why they are not ripening as quickly as you like them too. I hear him gently whisper to my spirit.

My mother has a vegetable garden in her backyard which has green tomatoes and red tomatoes . Sometimes we pick the green tomatoes, and bring it inside and allow them to turn red from the sunlight . My mother then places her green tomatoes on her kitchen window shelf, where the sun can directly hit them.

Her tomatoes always ripen quickly. If those tomatoes are not in the direct sunlight they take awhile to turn red. Allot longer then being in the sun.

In this Christ life, God wants us mature like those red tomatoes! Ready to be eaten and used. He dose not want u…

What is the purpose of life ?

One thing I am learning in life, is don’t waste anymore time! All that time and energy I have wasted complaining about things I can not change, can be time and energy well spent moving forward!

Keep pressing in, it does get better, if you just keep moving forward in Christ❤️

Philippians 3:12-14
Pressing Toward the Goal
12 Not that I have already attained,or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. 13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
