A word of encouragement...

Philippians 1:6 (NKJV) 6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; I took my daughter Resham to her dentist appointment today. Along with my usual busy day it was such a joy to be able to fellowship with another believer in Christ. I was calling my son Isaac , and the elderly man heard me calling his name and told me that he liked his name. Also told me his name meant laughter , and he who laughs. ( well being my 7th child we had allot of laughs). We end up talking about the word of God and how it is true and stands forever. We also talked about God meeting every need! It was very encouraging and uplifting. This month I seen for myself how God provided every single need we needed met. We had not lack! The man thank me, for encouraging him in the word of God, but I guess he didn`t realize he encouraged me as well. God is love, and He always knows what we need, when we need it and will often time send yo

Just Simply Ask

A ping from my iPhone, is starting to turn into the dreaded text message spam! You know the mail that gets sent to your private messages, on a daily bases. It often starts out sweet and alluring; telling you good news on how God will bless you, but there is a CATCH! You must send this message now, to 10 people before you will receive your blessing! Gasps! See the thing is, God is not like that. Its not do this, and do that! And then I will help you! Jesus said simply... Just "ask". Not only Ask, but ask in the confidence in faith, that God hears your prayers and will answer. The confidence of when He does answers, He gives us exactly what we need. 1 John 5:14(NKJV) Confidence and Compassion in Prayer 14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. So instead of spamming your friends, and being on the

Let loving Kindness be on your lips...

Proverbs 29:11 A fool vents all his feelings, But a wise man holds them back. Scrolling down social media  and reading feeds telling off family, friends and the infamous " if you don`t like it, delete yourself"... Wonder how many people would actually say these things to people face to face? Or maybe its the comfort of hiding behind a computer screen, that makes people feel empowered to act shamefully. As if the lack,of ounce of common sense, would go over well with their readers. The bible says even a fool looks wise when they hold their tongue Proverbs 17:28 Even a fool is counted wise when he holds his peace; When he shuts his lips, he is considered perceptive. Whatever it is, best as Christians to seek the word of God before being sucked down society's hole of anything goes, when it comes to opening up your mouth and speaking. There are something that never need to be said, to keep the peace. There are words that need to be held back, to avoid strife. There are words
