Spirit Led: Singing through the pain

Sings...
Oh the blood of Jesus! Oh the blood of Jesus! Oh the blood of Jesus! He wash me white as snooowww!

I can remember singing this song as a teen. My mother had taught us who Jesus is, and that we can come to Him for anything.

Often times during a tummy ache. I would just began to sing. It brought comfort and peace , knowing I could call out to the one who answers.

What ever healing you are confessing over your body today! Remember this... God always answers those who call out to Him! He is faithful

Psalm 30:2 (NIV)
2 Lord my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me.

Heavenly Father I come to You in the name of Jesus! Lord, You are a God that answers me, when I call about Your name!

Thank You for your healing virtue flowing over every individual that is reading this prayer today! For your word declares that..

Isaiah 53:5But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,And by His stripes we are healed.

Thank you for it being done . For Your word goes forth, and never comes back void. In Jesus name I pray, amen.

Have a Bless and wonderful Friday! Love Sis Rashida❤️🙏🏾

Pillar of Salt Syndrome

What in the world are looking you back for? Your past? What you could have, should have done? Hurts? Let me start with a story about Lot’s wife. For those that do not know this story or need just a little reminder, do you remember the woman who turns into a pillar of salt? Lot`s wife was a woman in the bible who turn into a pillar of salt, because she looked back at her past. Lot`s wife was warned by angels, to not look back at the city of Sodom and Gomorrah where she and her family had once dwelt. God had sent angels to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. Sodom and Gomorrah was a city ruled by sexual perversion and every other sin in the book. Therefore, God sent two angels to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. But First God brought Lot and his family out of the city that their life might be saved.

Let us fast forward to Lot’s wife. Now the angel of the Lord specifically warns lot’s family to not look back as the city while it was being destroyed. However, Lot’s wife chooses to look back and she h…

Green Tomatoes

I am a mother and a wife, and my life is always busy. So very often my chats with God, are during those quick moments of silence.

I could be washing dishes, doing laundry or preparing a meal. It’s those moments I hear His whispers, because my spirit is silent.

Green Tomatoes !! Okay, God I have green tomatoes . Look again, and realize why they are not ripening as quickly as you like them too. I hear him gently whisper to my spirit.

My mother has a vegetable garden in her backyard which has green tomatoes and red tomatoes . Sometimes we pick the green tomatoes, and bring it inside and allow them to turn red from the sunlight . My mother then places her green tomatoes on her kitchen window shelf, where the sun can directly hit them.

Her tomatoes always ripen quickly. If those tomatoes are not in the direct sunlight they take awhile to turn red. Allot longer then being in the sun.

In this Christ life, God wants us mature like those red tomatoes! Ready to be eaten and used. He dose not want u…

What is the purpose of life ?

One thing I am learning in life, is don’t waste anymore time! All that time and energy I have wasted complaining about things I can not change, can be time and energy well spent moving forward!

Keep pressing in, it does get better, if you just keep moving forward in Christ❤️

Philippians 3:12-14
Pressing Toward the Goal
12 Not that I have already attained,or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. 13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
