Growing in Christ: My Savior!

Have you ever met someone, who was just so amazing? So amazing, that you had to tell everyone about that person ? A friend that is very talented, kindhearted, successful, and just plain awesome to be around! I have! I have this friend! He is just completely unique! One of a kind ! He is loving to the point of having a unconditional love! He always answers me, when I call! He is there for me through thick and thin, with His wise counseling! He always fights every battle for me! He is the perfect shoulder to cry on and cast every care upon. He never judges anyone's appearances, and believes in giving everyone multiple chances! He feeds the hungry! He heals the sick! Walks on water! Cast out demons, Raises the dead! And even can turn water into wine!  But that is not what makes him so awesome! What makes him so extraordinary, is that He actually laid down His life, for my life! He took my penalties, charges, and judgment upon himself! He took my place, for my crimes!! He is just the G

Growing in Christ: Get rid of the gunk!

Yesterday, I ended my evening washing a pan out, that had been soaking on the kitchen counter. As I scrubbed away the once hard residue, off the pan. I am reminded of a life of a Christian. The bible tells us here... Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of y

Spirit & Life Devotional Sunday, April 5 Chinaemerem Joshua Ibezim Walking In Newness Of Life Romans 6:4 NKJV "Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life." Something is wrong if after everything Jesus did you are still living and sinning as if you were never saved; something is wrong if after the sufferings of Christ before and on the cross you are still suffering and in the same condition you were before you got born again. Jesus gave us a new life, we should be walking in it now! Today, a lot of us are celebrating the fact that Jesus died for us, but not many realize that we were in Him the entire time! When He died, we died with Him; when He was buried, we were buried with Him; and when He rose from the dead, we rose with Him! No wonder it says that if any man be in Christ he is a n
