Growing in Christ: Forget Not!

Deuteronomy 4:9 Only take heed to yourself, and diligently keep yourself, lest you forget the things your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life. And teach them to your children and your grandchildren,
How often do we quickly forget what Jesus has done for us! He is our healer, deliver , savior, The God who meets every need!
Don't be so quick to forget how God has answers your prayers! Don't move onto a new worry for the day! Remember God is the same God yesterday, today, and forever ! Christ never changes! What He provided for you yesterday, He will also do today!
Spread the word ... God never changes!!
Gooooood morning King Jesus! Goooood morning family and friends!
It's Monday!! Enjoy your day in Christ, love Sis Rashida

Growing in Christ: He watches me

Woke up this morning, by God's grace. As Christ ministered to me as I slept, with this song!
I can remember 18 years ago. When my oldest was just an infant. My dad would sing, this song to Javier. Little did he know, he was speaking a blessing over my son's life, as a Child.
The words of the song, reminds us that God watches over us, and takes care of us. Just as Christ takes care of the little sparrows in the air, and the beautiful lilies in the fields. He is always graciously, watching over us!
Today, I pray the word of God over each of you reading this! That God's word will come alive to you! That you will receive all the benefits from Christ! Healing, restoration, and needs being met!
Psalm 103:2-7 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: 3 Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, 4 Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, 5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your yout…

Growing in Christ: He shall supply

Philippians 4:19
19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

I have been praying, and asking God to provide a specific need. It seemed like everytime, I got closer to seeing that need being met, something happen, to push us back further from it!

But God...
I had to come to a place of putting aside anxiousness of seeing my need met! Completely trust that it was done, and in Christ's time, the doors would be open! Well, that need, I have been praying about, the doors are wide open! God always provides... Be patient and wait on Him!

Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus! Lord, You are a God that provides every need according to Your word, that is faithful...
Psalm 37:25
I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread.

Lord, whenever I feel anxious about any need. I am gently reminded to cast every care upon You! So I Stop, Pray, and Give it over to You, and know You a…

Growing in Christ: Love

Gooood morning King Jesus! Goooood morning family and friends!

If you are really serious about doing your Heavenly Father's business, then LOVE more! You can never love to much !

My spiritual breakfast for this morning...
1 Corinthians 13 (NKJV)

The Greatest Gift

13 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.

4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes a…

Growing in Christ: Peace be Still

I love to fall asleep, and wake up in the word of God! The bible speaks of God's perfect peace, as our eyes stay on Christ....

Isaiah 26:3
You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.

Trusting in God, is your answer to perfect peace! Do you want to have peace in the storm? Do you want to be like Jesus who slept, peacefully in the boat, though the waves were tossing it to and fro?

Then trust in Him completely!

Mark 4:37-41 (NKJV)
37 And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. 38 But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?”

39 Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. 40 But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?”

Jesus is still saying today, to every storm in your life! " Peace be still!…

Growing in Christ: Surrounded by flames !

There is absolutely nothing better then surrounding yourself with other Christians. People who will pray for you, encourage you with the word of God, and push you to grow your relationship with Christ!
We all need to surround ourself with believers, that will help keep our fire burning for Christ. For the bible calls us his flames of fire. Note these verses... Psalm 104:4 Who makes His angels spirits, His ministers a flame of fire.
Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
If you feel your flame dying down. Survey who your friends are! Are they there building up your relationship in Christ, or drawing you from Him?
The bible is clear... 1 Corinthians 15:33 Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.”
Choose your friendship wisely. They will either help ignite your fire or quench it!
Proverbs 12:26 The righteous should choose his f…
