Be Still...

The beauty of being still, is that in your stillness God can be heard, and move fully in our life's.
Often times, I find myself not taking the time to be still in the presences of the Lord. When I become caught up in being to busy, a tugging of my heart will start! I then purposely set some time apart to spend with Jesus❤️
Be Still... Be still and hear what the spirit of the living God has to say!
Be still,  and place every care into God's hands!
Be still and know, that you know, that He is God!
In those quiet times that I purposely set aside for Christ. I am allowing God to speak to me. For in those quiet times, Great Revelations are revealed, and battles are always won!
Psalm 46:10  Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!
It's Wednesday, another day to enjoy God's Blessing! Love Sis Rashida ❤️🙏🏾

Blessed: Stayed Blessed

Coming home after a long day of celebration: I found myself emerged into a situation that could have easily turned into an ugly spat!
As I stood their fuming. I heard the Holy Spirit remind me of this verse...
Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.
I now had a choice to make. I could allow my anger to cause me to sin or cause me to pray. I chose to pray!
Ephesians 4:26  “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath,
There is a great Blessing for those who chose to be peacemakers! If not here on earth, you will surely see that Blessing in Heaven! Never get weary in choosing to do it God's way!

Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
Have a Blessed Monday! Love Sis Rashida❤️😘

Growing in Christ: The Favor of God

"No, display items go on sale after Christmas!" "We can not sale them!"
The cashier shouted, as another cashier had inquired for me, if my mother was able to purchase a display item. The item was a Christmas light, that read " Joy".
My mother wanted to purchase it, but they were all sold out. The only one left was the one on display.
I turned, to my mom, and my mother said to me, ask her to page the manager. I then politely told, the cashier to page the manager for us.
Lord, give us favor with the manager my mom said quietly to herself. As the manager came over to where I was standing. He began to tell me, these items are not suppose to be sold until after Christmas, but I can  override it, and sale it to you now!
God gives us His favor. He blesses us like none other can do! Though I was told it can't be done! God had other plans!

Proverbs 12:2 A good man obtains favor from the Lord, But a man of wicked intentions He will condemn.

Growing in Christ: Train up a child

Proverbs 22:6Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, shall not depart from it.
My Dear Sister in Christ, Brigette, has shared a delightful photo of her son studying his bible.
The word of God, declares that we should train up our child in the way, that they shall go, and when they are older, they shall not depart from it!
Today, be encouraged to continue to pray for our children. Study the word with them daily, and build a foundation rooted in Christ. Teach them they ways of our Lord, and that God loves them!
As we continue to bring them up in a relationship with Christ, a seed will be planted that will flourish in due season!
Hallelujah, God is faithful to His word!

Found this at the Redbox machine! What a sweet thing to do! Free popcorn with a movie!

Absolutely loved it! But who does not love, reading a faith based book? Not only is this book very inspiring, but it will rekindled your faith to believe that all things are possible through Christ!
The author, Sara Lowe, has conveyed a beautiful story of hope, and miracles in which Christ alone can perform! She also has great scripture references, to shed light on many biblical questions, regarding healing and faith.

Growing in Christ: Christ Listens

Roaches make me feel anxious! Hahahaha
I was stressed to my limited. Having kids, especially with beautiful amount, of children to raise, is work! On top of that, two weeks ago,  I was dealing with my home invaders!
I stop, and prayed that God would remove the roaches from my home! After a night of fierce cleaning, the morning brought a knock on my door.
As I open the door, there stood the apartment manager, and maintenance. I was moving! Management was told that I had to move , because of another issue I was having in my home. Not only did they move me to an upgraded apartment, with stainless steel appliciances, a newer carpet, and down stairs! They also took off 400.00 dollars off my rent to cover my move! Hallelujah!
God has answered! New place! No roaches! And ungraded unit!
God always answers prayers, how he sees fit to. I now have my peace back, and I am very grateful :) Whenever you feel anxious, stop and take it to your Heavenly Father in prayers ! He listens!
Heavenly Father, I com…

Growing in Christ: Blessings!

I am a child of the Living God! I am truly Blessed! Blessed! Blessed!
I am Beautifully Created in God's image! I have the mind of Christ! The true and living God has sealed me with His Holy Spirit! I am Blessed coming in and Blessed going out! Everything I put my hands to will prosper, says the Lord!
Today, confess the word of God over your life! The bible says, it is living, and powerful than a two edged sword!
This word always goes forth and never, ever comes back void! Have faith in Christ!
Proverbs 23:7(KJV) 7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
Have a bless day, love Sis Rashida

Spiritual Coffee: The Great I AM!

Proverbs 28:1 The wicked flee when no one pursues, But the righteous are bold as a lion.
BOLD as a Lion! Christ is a loving and caring God and He is bold as a fierce lion! We do not serve a wimpy and nonchalant God. However, we server the one who calls Himself "THE GREAT I AM"

Let us look at our all-powerful God:
Exodus 3:14
And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”

Hallelujah! That should have you shouting this morning , Christ said "I AM", He is the Ultimate, Number one, and Uno! There is no other God but Him.

Christ is even seen in the New Testament, declaring He is the "GREAT I AM". Let us look at this verse, in John 18:4-6 which states," Jesus therefore, knowing all things that would come upon Him, went forward and said to them, “Whom are you seeking?”
5 They answered Him, “Jesus of Nazareth.”
Jesus said to them, “I am He.” And Judas, who betrayed Him, also stoo…

Growing in Christ: Be Thankful!

It's Friday! Take a look back at your entire week! Know that God has brought you this far! Be Thankful!

Philippians 2:14-16The Message (MSG)14-16 Do everything readily and cheerfully—no bickering, no second-guessing allowed! Go out into the world uncorrupted, a breath of fresh air in this squalid and polluted society. Provide people with a glimpse of good living and of the living God. Carry the light-giving Message into the night so I’ll have good cause to be proud of you on the day that Christ returns. You’ll be living proof that I didn’t go to all this work for nothing.

Growing in Christ: Truth

Do not sin, Do not commit murder, Marriage is one man, one woman! Do not commit adultery ... Etc!
1 Corinthians 1:18 [ Christ the Power and Wisdom of God ] For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
To a nonbeliever, the message of the cross is foolishness ! The bible is just a silly old book, with many do nots! But to a true believer, a Christian, it is life ...
We just don't take part of the bible, we take all of it. Because Christ, himself is the word of God! And as the bible tells us, "Darkness" nonbelievers, can not comprehend, what is truth! Until, their eyes become open!
John 1 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did…

Growing in Christ: Are you ready?

Be ready for Christ's Return! 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18(NKJV)
16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

Growing in Christ: Mastering the "Ask"

My children have mastered the skill of asking for something. Whether it be candy, to go outside and play, or wanting a new pet! They have mastered, the "asking"!
They are not afraid to ask big, or small; and their faith in hearing a yes answer is astonishing!
The bible tells us that we are to ask our Heavenly Father, for what is laid upon our hearts.
Though the bible also tells us, that Christ knows what we need, before we ask. God wants us to ask. Christ wants us to build a relationship of communication, through asking in prayers; and to understand He is our source and provider! All things come through Him...
Note this verse...
Mathew 11:24 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
Asking God, does not mean that you will always, get all your "wants", because the bible tells us here, in James 4
"Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure …

Growing in Christ: Keep the weeds out!

Let your mind be transform daily, by the reading of the word of God. Allow the Holy Spirit to , teach and reveal the secret things of the most High God, available for the Saints of God.
The bible tells us believers, to not allow this world to change us, but allow the word of God to continue to transform us. The world ways is like unwanted weeds! It has a way of choking the word of God out of our life's! Guard your heart in the word...
Read the word. Believe the word. Spend time in prayer and fellowship with Christ. Pray in the Spirit.
Then you shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, bringing forth great fruit, in all seasons. And everything you put your hands to shall prosper! (Psalms 1)
Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Have a Bless day in Christ! Keep the weeds out of your life. Love Sis Rashisa

Growing in Christ: I can do all things!

After having seven kids, the baby weight tends to stick on! I am on a new diet, to rid myself of unwanted baby fat! As in everything I do, I take it to the Lord, in prayers, for God wisdom is needed in every aspect of my life !
So as I diet to shed these last few baby pounds ! I am reminded in the word of God, that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me! Even lose this weight!

Mercy and Grace...

Mercy and Grace...Living with a Hindu is not easy. My Father-in law, has built an altar of worship in front of my home. The first day of seeing it. I thought he was feeding the wild animals tomatoes , and lettuce ! LOL Day three, with newly added food, next to the uneaten slowly rotting food, it was time to clean house . With a quick sweep of my broom, the altar came down! Though my Father-in-law is ignorant in the things he does. I still smile, and show him grace and mercy . No arguing, no finger pointing, no shaming. Just lovingly, letting Him know, my home belongs to Christ. The altar is down! Father-in-law, still prays to his over a million gods, and I still pray for His soul. He is a soul for Christ! I choose to live in peace, and love!2 John 1:3
Grace (spiritual blessing), mercy, and [soul] peace will be with us, from God the Father and from Jesus Christ (the Messiah), the Father’s Son, in all sincerity (truth) and love.Have a bless day! Love Sis Rashida

Growing in Christ: Do not be deceived

Be very careful not to be a world pleaser, than a Christ pleaser!! You can not, cheer the world on with their sins! And still proclaim to be a Christ follower! Choose Jesus or the world! Then your life will be BLESSED! What God said is sin, is sin! Don't take my word for it, read the bible for yourself, and stay blessed and not deceived!
James 4:4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

Growing in Christ: Speak the word!

Hubby: Business is slow! Not enough work for truckers. Yesterday, my friend had four of his trucks repossessed!!
Me: You'll be fine! When has God ever forsaken us?
Hubby: I know, but I can't find a load for tomorrow.
Me: Sighsssss, deep breath ... Babe, the bible says.. Psalm 37:25 I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread.
Hubby: That's true!
Me: God got this! Even if everyone around you has no work! You will!
Well husband call this morning and is booked up for a week! My God is always able! Choose to believe !!!

Growing in Christ: Walk me through the storms

Six years ago, my husband, and I, dealt with one tragic event, after another!
My husband lost his job. He got into two car accidents. He completely totaled out both of our vehicles. We had no vehicles to drive. His credit score suffered greatly from the loss of income. His faith in God was dwindling away.
One day in a heated discussion, my husband blurted out. Nothing bad ever happens to you! But this was far from truth! What happens to my husband. Also happens to me! We are one, and in this together.
I just had a different outlook on every struggle. I chose to trust God, instead of worrying. My faith in Christ, gives me the peace I needed to go through every storm !
(Philippians 4:6  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;)
If your going through any difficulties today, Trust God! God never, ever, promised that life would be easy ! But He did promise, to walk you through it all, and give you His peace. Yo…

Growing in Christ: Endure

The rain is graciously pouring down here in Kentucky! I am enjoying my evening on the couch. LOL I should be at the gym!
It's so hard to stay focus on working out, at the gym . Especially, on a day like this!
Struggling to keep a great pace, of workout! I often distract myself with praise and worship songs, or watch a sermon.
The distraction helps me to keep my mind off of an intense workout ! I was reminded how often we take our eyes off of Jesus, while going through struggles. We get tired, worn out, and just plain exhausted! But... If we keep our eye focus on Jesus, He will give us His peace, and strength to endure it!
Isaiah 26:3 3 You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You,Because he trusts in You.

Growing in Christ: Cleaning up

The light in my dining room has been out for two days now. This morning I finally have gotten around to changing it.
As I changed the light bulb, a  once darken living room, was now brightly lit ! Things that were not visible in the midst of darkness, were now very visible! Areas that need throughly cleaning, could now be attended to, as the light poured into the room.
Christ is this light in our life! He shines brightly, on areas in our life, that needs our attention. He shines that we may clean up our walk with Him, and allow nothing to hinder that growth. He also shines on those things we have hidden, revealing all!
Luke 8:17 For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light.
Heavenly Father I come to You in the name of Jesus! Lord, thank You for always revealing the things that need to be attended to! Lord, Your light brings out everything that is hidden! Nothing is ever, not know to You!
May we take these opportunities, to c…

Growing in Christ: Returning Home

Angel flew away! My daughter Resham has a homing pigeon, who we had raised, since she was a baby!
Daily Resham, had been teaching her to recognize her home. Grooming her, for her first flight away from home.
Well, Angel flew off for the very first time, and did not come back home!
The first day, I kept a watch for her, and even said a prayer for her, but no bird! The second day, the same thing! Day three, came and went, and still no, Angel. :(
Well, after not seeing her for three days; I just gave up on that little bird! But, I guess was in for a great surprise...
When my family and I had return from running errands . There outside waiting for us was Angel! Angel had return home!!! Hallelujah!
That day, I was reminded how my daughter's patients, love, and training had paid off! Angel return home! Just like raising our children in Christ! If you train them well in the Lord! They will always return home to Jesus!
Proverbs 22:6  Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old…

Growing in Christ: keep doing Good

Up early this morning, taking FIL to the bank. I am looking forward to enjoying every moment of this day! Because Jesus is alive, and still on His throne!!
The bible continuously tells us to do good, and keep on doing good! Why? Because at the end of this life, your reward is heaven, and eternally life with our Heavenly Father!
1 Corinthians 9:24-25(MSG) 24-25 You’ve all been to the stadium and seen the athletes race. Everyone runs; one wins. Run to win. All good athletes train hard. They do it for a gold medal that tarnishes and fades. You’re after one that’s gold eternally.
1 Corinthians 9:24 [ Striving for a Crown ] Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.
Heavenly Father I come to You in the name of Jesus! Lord, thank You for allowing me to continue to finish running this race! Lord, You have given me Your strength, Grace, and Your wisdom, which is all I need to accomplish what You have set before me!
I am…

Growing in Christ: God's Love

God's love Still Saves Souls!!

1 John 4:7-8New King James Version (NKJV)Knowing God Through Love7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

Growing in Christ: Live for Jesus

Goooood morning King Jesus! Goooood morning Beautiful family, and friends!
Live your life unto the Lord 24/7! God knows all, and see all! No room for lukewarm Christians in Heaven! One foot in the world, and one foot in church! You must be on fire for Christ, with both feet planted in Him!
2 Timothy 2:19(MSG) 19 Meanwhile, God’s firm foundation is as firm as ever, these sentences engraved on the stones: God knows who belongs to him. spurn evil, all you who name God as God!
Enjoy your weekend !

Growing in Christ: Content

Being content with all the blessings God has poured out into my life, has brought me great peace ! My focus is not on gaining earthly possessions! My focus is heavenly bound !
John 3:16 For Godsoloved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Growing in Christ: The Great Reward

Sit down! Don't touch that! Leave the dog alone! Who put the toothpaste in the bathtub?
I seriously see why my hair is turning grey at 36! LOL
There are many days that my kids drive me nuts! However, I continue to raise them in the Lord. It's not always easy to do! Especially raising seven children!!
I know as I continue to walk in my calling, of being a stay at home mom. I will see the great rewards through all that God has destine for my children's life. As I raise them to love the Lord, with all their heart, mind, and soul!
Never stop praying for your kids! Never stop believing God to keep them on the right path!
Place your children in God's hands, because at the end of the day, everything will be alright! Just have faith in God, and believe!
Galatians 6:9-109 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith…

Sunday Bible Verse

2 Timothy 4:17 17 But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that the message might be preached fully through me, andthatall the Gentiles might hear. Also I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

Growing in Christ: Not a sinner

I often time hear many people call themselves sinners. Especially those who are Christians. Now those who do not know Christ, have label themselves correctly! However, many Christians are missing the entire point of the bible.
Picture yourself sitting at your desk, or a table. You have a nice, cold glass of red juice on the table, in a cup. You also have an important piece a paper, there.
Now see yourself accidentally spilling your cup over. The contents of the cup, spills over, unto the paper, saturating it with the red juice !
You see what is in that cup represents the blood of Jesus. The blood that was spilled for our sins! That paper represents, every person who has received what Christ has done on the cross. The bible tells us that God took our sins upon himself, at the cross!
2 Corinthians 5:21 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
Did you see what that verse said!! It's said..." That we might become Righte…

Growing in Christ: Grace towards other

Lord, help me to forgive the elderly man that gave me a dirty look, was my prayer.
As I walk through Wal-Mart the other day, a couple of my kids came out of the aisle, and crossed and elderly man's pathway. Agitated that the kids crossed in front of his cart, he stop, looked at me and gave me a very unfriendly look!
I looked at him, and kept walking. Just moments before , I was speaking to my husband about ignoring people's foolishness. Speaking to him, about not letting things people do and say get him at a constant state of anger!
Now flash forward , moments later, I must practice what I just preached!
I was very angry! So angry, that I wanted to literally punch this man in his face! As I went about finishing my shopping, I said a prayer.
Lord, help me to forgive this man. Lord, help me not to blow up, if I see him again.
Not a minute later, I saw him again. I looked at him, but he did not make any eye contact with me. I kept walking, and kept my mouth Shut!
Proverbs 16:32 He who i…

Growing in Christ: God's protection

Jeremiah 20:11(NKJV)
11 But the Lord is with me as a mighty, awesome One. Therefore my persecutors will stumble, and will not prevail. They will be greatly ashamed, for they will not prosper. Their everlasting confusion will never be forgotten.
Today, like any other day. I start my day out in Christ! I have sent forth my guardian angels, to go forth and prepare my day! Keeping me safe from all harm and danger, according to...  Psalm 91:11 For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.
I have purposely put on my full armor of God! I am ready for the day!
There will absolutely be no weapons, that has been formed against me, that will prosper! For The Lord has declare, when the enemy shall come at me like a roaring flood. God will be there to protect me, according to this verse...
Isaiah 59:19 So shall they fear The name of the Lord from the west, And His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standa…

Growing in Christ: Be like Jesus

Everyday we all strive to do our Best, to represent Christ!
Matthew 516 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Growing in Christ: Shut up!

Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!
Being redundant, is a must sometimes, to get a point across ! There were times when I would call my mother to complain about a situation, and just could not get her to join in on my pity party! (Laughs)
She often would reply with remarks as... Put it in God's hands! You'll be just fine, or God will not let you suffer ! And her most famous reply is ...There is nothing to hard for God! Even though she would never join in on one of my pity parties. I found great comfort in knowing, that she would tell me the entire truth, in love; and get me to shut up, stop speaking doubt, unbelief, and negatively!
Today, as I write. I am reminded of a wonderful story found in the bible . A story of a man name Zacharias, and his wife Elizabeth. Short verse... They had no children. She and he, were both old in age. An angel sent by God visited Zacharias, and told him, that they would have a child. Let's read Zacharias reply...
Luke 1:18 18 And Zacharias said to the angel…

Growing in Christ: Spirit of fear

About a year ago, my now three year old son, had gotten himself lost. While attending my sister's back to school party, my son Jacob, had slipped out of the house, unknowing to us all!
After realizing he was missing and calling 911! The 911 receptionist had located my son. The receptionist said, that they did find a three year old, Hindu boy, in my area.( no my son is not Hindu! Daddy is from India, and we are Christians)
My reply was..." That is my son!" Hahahaha !
Ever since that day, I have had a fear of losing a child. A crippling fear, that often has me opting out of doing many outdoors, activities! Instead of picking up Godly wisdom on how to keep my children safe. I had picked up fear!
Today, I declare I am no longer afraid of losing one of my seven children! I chose to trust God with their care, and seek His wisdom on how to never lose a child again ! LOL
The enemy would had, love for me to stay in a state of fear! To shut down, and stop living! But God has made it …

Growing in Christ: Give God the Glory!

I just love, to start my day with giving glory, and honor to the ONLY one, who has surrounded me with His mercy, and grace!
Goooood morning King Jesus ! Goooood morning family and friends!
Here is my spiritual breakfast for the morning.  Psalm 115:1-2 (NKJV) The Futility of Idols and the Trustworthiness of God 115 Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us,But to Your name give glory, Because of Your mercy, Because of Your truth.
It's so important for each of us to continue to get fed the word of God, daily! As the word reminds us here...
Matthew 4:4 But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’” Hallelujah!

Growing in Christ: Choices

The other day, my husband and I had reached a fork in the middle of the woods! We had to make a choice, on what direction to go . It's was either ..
A... Trust God to meet a need, that looked impossible!
B... Try to meet a need on our own, and not be completely honest to get it done !
As my husband and I discussed the situation. I just could not see myself choosing plan B! Being a Christian means all eyes are on our lifestyle , and that our faith walk in Christ is being seen! If we say we love God, we need to trust him no matter what! We are always to do Good, and not telling the truth, is never an option for me personally!
I was reminded of the story of Abraham in the bible . How he lied and told pharaoh the half truth about his wife. Abraham told pharaoh that Sarai was his sister, and not the whole truth of her being his wife. Though his intentions were good! As Abraham wanted to protected himself from being harm! He could had just simply trusted God, to work the situation out! Note…

Scripture Sunday

1 John 4:9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.

Growing in Christ: Fix your eyes on Christ

Lately, I have been really putting into practice what I preach! Whenever I feel myself getting anxious about anything! I begin to remind myself of the word of God! I Stop, pray, and cast every care at Jesus's feet !
I am purposely fixing my eyes on Christ! What do I mean by that? Instead of looking at my  problems, situations, or worries! I take my eyes off of the situation and refix them to the word of God! Why? Because God's word promises in the book of Romans, that reads ...Romans 8:28  "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."
God is always able to make it RIGHT! Hallelujah! Note this story in the bible...
Acts 3:3 A Lame Man Healed 3 Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. 2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who en…

Growing in Christ: God always answers!

Joshua: "Mommie I don't feel very well!"
Me: "Well, try drinking some water, and relaxing to see if you feel better."
Just a few moments later...
Joshua: "Mommie, I feel better now! I went and prayed, and I don't feel sick anymore !"
1 Peter 3:12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”
And my favorite verse says it all... James 5: 16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
God always hears our prayers, and answers! He is always on time!
Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus! Lord, You have always been faithful to Your precious word! What your words says in the bible, is True, and always goes forth and never comes back void!
Lord, remind those who are waiting for an answer prayer, that You have heard them and are moving on their beh…

Growing in Christ: My identity

Paul said it very well!...There are many things in life we can boast about! Many accomplishments, we can list! But put them next to means nothing! For these things do not identify who we are! For are indentity is only found in Christ, Alone! Our greatest accomplishment is living a Christ led life!
Philippians 3 (MSG)To Know Him Personally3 And that’s about it, friends. Be glad in God!I don’t mind repeating what I have written in earlier letters, and I hope you don’t mind hearing it again. Better safe than sorry—so here goes.2-6 Steer clear of the barking dogs, those religious busybodies, all bark and no bite. All they’re interested in is appearances—knife-happy circumcisers, I call them. The realbelievers are the ones the Spirit of God leads to work away at this ministry, filling the air with Christ’s praise as we do it. We couldn’t carry this off by our own efforts, and we know it—even though we can list what many might think are impressive credentials. You know my pedigre…

Growing in Christ: Christ our healer!

He is the same! Yesterday! Today! And forever! God still heals!
Do you have the courage and faith to believe?
Exodus 15:26 and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.”
Gooooooood morning King Jesus ! Gooooood morning family and friends!

Growing in Christ: Give Thanks

My oldest son Javier. He often, shares many stories with me. On how his job went for the day. As a security guard, he not only secures the  premises, where he works at. But he also lends a helping hand, and opens the door for many people coming into the building, at his work place.
Today, my son spoke of a few people walking through the door, in which he held open. These very few walked in without a smile,  or a word of gratitude! My response was, just shut the door in their face!! Nooooo, I am just kidding! Hahahahaha
I expect him to continue to be kind and do his job 100% and more! Often time we as Christians are like this! Christ opens many doors for us in our life! From healings, needs being met, answers to prayers ...Etc.
However, we never stop to say a simple thank you! To bow our heads in prayers, and thank the One who does it all in our life! Or even lift our hands and worship the God who gives us the breath of life! We walk through life, like those men and women with an ungratef…

Growing in Christ: FIll your house up

Have you ever watch the show. "Extreme home make over"? Well, if not . The show is basically about homes, that are in dire need of a make over! Run down, broken homes, that need to be remodeled!

As Christians, our life was once like this! We were all dirty, filthy sinners in God's eyes; who needed an extreme make over!

We needed a savior ! God seen that need, and met that need, by sending His son. Christ, then came to earth and gave each of us an opportunity to get an extreme spiritual make over. Jesus basically cleaned house!

Like the show "Extreme house make over". They never, ever, just came in and just clean up, without bringing in new furniture! People are never left with just an empty house at the end of the show. And neither left with a new home, with the same old dirty furniture inside! Everything in the house is brand new, and the home is left full of new furniture!

When we become a Christian, Christ cleans house! Jesus also leaves us with a ton of new fu…

Growing in Christ: Scripture Wednesday

Psalm 23 (MSG)A David Psalm23 1-3 God, my shepherd!
I don’t need a thing.
You have bedded me down in lush meadows,
you find me quiet pools to drink from.
True to your word,
you let me catch my breath
and send me in the right direction. 4 Even when the way goes through
Death Valley,
I’m not afraid
when you walk at my side.
Your trusty shepherd’s crook
makes me feel secure. 5 You serve me a six-course dinner
right in front of my enemies.
You revive my drooping head;
my cup brims with blessing. 6 Your beauty and love chase after me
every day of my life.
I’m back home in the house of God
for the rest of my lif

Growing in Christ: I will praise Him

I'm Psalm 3434 I bless God every chance I get;
my lungs expand with his praise. 2 I live and breathe God;
if things aren’t going well, hear this and be happy:
Woke up this morning and every inch of my body just aches! I could sit here and find many things to complain about, but I choose not too!  Today, and tomorrow and each day after! I choose to bless the Lord at all times! Because of Christ, I still have my breath to praise Him! Even through those difficult days!! Hallelujah!!
