Growing in Christ: Seeking God not riches!

Gooood Morning King Jesus! Good Morning sweet  family and friends!

I was up around 4am this morning and fell back asleep around 6:30am. I enjoyed some quiet time watching a few pastors teach on television. It was time to head back to bed, when I felt the urge to through my iPhone at a pastor preaching on how to get rich, by sowing seeds of money!( I am not speaking about tithing!)

Its sad, that the gospel is taking to a low level of how to " get" then how to "serve" one ano...ther! Christ was the greatest example on how we as Christians should operate here on earth...

Jesus had a ...J...O...B That`s right, he worked! Mark 6:3...
" Is this not the "carpenter", the Son of Mary, and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And are not His sisters here with us?” So they were offended at Him"

The bible says, a man that does not work, does not eat! Here are a few ways to use Godly wisdom for increase of wealth!

Teach Christians how to live holy unto God. (Deuteronomy 11:26-27)
Teach Christians how to give to the poor.(Proverbs 22:9)
Teach Christians How to work, save money, invest wisely, (Proverbs 30:25 ) and " Most" Important of all "Seek" God first and His blessing will cover us richly!

Matthew 6:33
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Seek God in all things, and don`t fall for the get rich "quickly" schemes that are preached!

Pillar of Salt Syndrome

What in the world are looking you back for? Your past? What you could have, should have done? Hurts? Let me start with a story about Lot’s wife. For those that do not know this story or need just a little reminder, do you remember the woman who turns into a pillar of salt? Lot`s wife was a woman in the bible who turn into a pillar of salt, because she looked back at her past. Lot`s wife was warned by angels, to not look back at the city of Sodom and Gomorrah where she and her family had once dwelt. God had sent angels to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. Sodom and Gomorrah was a city ruled by sexual perversion and every other sin in the book. Therefore, God sent two angels to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. But First God brought Lot and his family out of the city that their life might be saved.

Let us fast forward to Lot’s wife. Now the angel of the Lord specifically warns lot’s family to not look back as the city while it was being destroyed. However, Lot’s wife chooses to look back and she h…

What is the purpose of life ?

One thing I am learning in life, is don’t waste anymore time! All that time and energy I have wasted complaining about things I can not change, can be time and energy well spent moving forward!

Keep pressing in, it does get better, if you just keep moving forward in Christ❤️

Philippians 3:12-14
Pressing Toward the Goal
12 Not that I have already attained,or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. 13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Raising my children in Christ

What a blessing to be a mother and the opportunity to raise my children in Christ. Daily I am teaching my children that God has called us Christians to be the light in this world of darkness. To do good even in the midst of evil. To choose to serve God, even when family and friends choose to do otherwise.

We are in the last days here on earth and the returning of Christ Jesus draws near! I want to see my entire family, ready for His return. The Bible teaches we do not know the day or the hour but we do know the season. We are to stay ready!

Daily, as a family we dig in this word, and daily we renew our mind. If you have children keep sharing this gospel, keep praying for them ! God has a hold of their hearts.

Scripture reading for today...

Psalm 89:15-16  (NKJV)
15 Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound!
They walk, O Lord, in the light of Your countenance.
16 In Your name they rejoice all day long,
And in Your righteousness they are exalted.
