Growing in Christ: Offenses

Proverbs! Proverbs! Proverbs! The book of God`s wisdom!

Proverbs 19:11 The discretion of a man makes him slow to anger, And his GLORY is to overlook a transgression.

Proverbs 19:11 (MSG)
11 Smart people know how to hold their tongue;
their grandeur is to forgive and forget.

Christians often get look upon as door mats, to the world, when we overlook offenses. To simply put it, we are not ignorant to things people do or say to us, but WISE enough to choose to handle it God`s way.... Rather being quick to pick up God`s peace, then stir the pot of offenses.

Offenses will always come, " Always"! Give it over to God, forgive, forget, and let God fight every battle.

Have a bless day in Christ, Love Sis Rashida

Growing in Christ: Chosen

I lift my head up high, because I am loved by God! He is my strong tower, my shelter! My God in who I always trust!

My confidence is solely in Him, and never mankind, for Christ's love is unfailing !

I am loved by God! Chosen by Him! And called His beautiful creation!

Psalm 3:3
But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head.

Gooooood morning sweet Jesus! Gooood morning family and friends!

Have a wonderful Monday, love Sis Rashida:)

Growing in Christ: Can God use me?

Two hands, feet, a body and a head. God has given me all this, to use for His glory!

I could look in the mirror, and say.." Lord, I am only one person. How can I do what you have ask of me?"

Then, I am gently guided to the book of Mark, which reads...

Mark 6:37-44 But he answered, ‘You give them something to eat.’

They said to him, ‘That would take more than half a year’s wages! Are we to go and spend that much on bread and give it to them to eat?’

38 ‘How many loaves do you have?’ he asked. ‘Go and see.’

When they found out, they said, ‘Five – and two fish.’

41 Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. 44 The number of the men who had eaten was five thousand.

Give thanks for what God has given you, and God will work His miracles, through your hands, feet, and mouth! God never ask any of us to be super Heroes, or even perfect! He just ask us to have faith in Him!

Have a bless week in Christ, love Sis Rashida:)

Growing in Christ: He took your sins

Did you know that Christ died on the cross for our sins? The first man in the bible, that you see Christ taking the place for their sin was, Barabbas. Jesus, found not guilty of any sin, took the place of Barabbas, and all Humanity!

His precious blood, that was shed, meant that we were no longer looked upon as ...
Sinners
Hopeless
Lost sheep
Deemed for hell!

However, through the blood that was shed that day at cavalry, we were " Finally" completely set free in Christ! We are now the righteousness of Christ! (Romans 6:18 And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.) Christ has covered us in His righteousness! Today, live like, Christ died for your sins!

Matthew 27:15-18
Taking the Place of Barabbas
15 Now at the feast the governor was accustomed to releasing to the multitude one prisoner whom they wished. 16 And at that time they had a notorious prisoner called Barabbas. 17 Therefore, when they had gathered together, Pilate said to them, “Whom do you want m…

Spiritual Coffee: Don`t have Sugarcoated lips!

Half truth, sugarcoated preaching is like poison to the body of Christ! Look at it like this. A person with sugar diabetes, has to watch their blood sugar intake. To much sugar can do severe damage to their body, to the point of loss of limbs and even death.

This is what sugarcoated preaching, in error does to the body of Christ! It tastes sweet and delicious going down, but as more and more of this false doctrine is swallowed, it slowly deteriorates the body of Christ!

Instead of healthy churches; we now have sick churches! Amputated parts of the body of Christ, cut off from one another and the head ( Christ). Wounded blood vessels, were the blood (Blood of Jesus)once flowed freely, now can not (Holy Spirit); due to the over load of sugarcoated messages, that have wreaked havoc on the body of Christ.

Paul warns against this in these verses found in 2 Timothy 2:16-17 which states,"16 But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness. 17 And their m…
