Spiritual Coffee: The Great I AM!

Proverbs 28:1 The wicked flee when no one pursues, But the righteous are bold as a lion.
BOLD as a Lion! Christ is a loving and caring God and He is bold as a fierce lion! We do not serve a wimpy and nonchalant God. However, we server the one who calls Himself "THE GREAT I AM"

Let us look at our all-powerful God:
Exodus 3:14
And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”

Hallelujah! That should have you shouting this morning , Christ said "I AM", He is the Ultimate, Number one, and Uno! There is no other God but Him.

Christ is even seen in the New Testament, declaring He is the "GREAT I AM". Let us look at this verse, in John 18:4-6 which states," Jesus therefore, knowing all things that would come upon Him, went forward and said to them, “Whom are you seeking?”
5 They answered Him, “Jesus of Nazareth.”
Jesus said to them, “I am He.” And Judas, who betrayed Him, also stood with them. 6 Now when He said to them, “I am He,” they drew back and fell to the ground.

When God open up His mouth, and said, "I am He," The bible tells us THEY FELL to the GROUND! That same authority that Christ manifested, is the same authority that He has placed in our hands!

Mark 16:17-20
New King James Version (NKJV)
17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Matthew 21:21
So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done
.

Christ has thrown down His mantel upon us! However, He did not stop there. Remember the story in the bible about Elijah and Elisha?

Let us look at these verses, please read this very carefuly!
2 Kings 2:9 And so it was, when they had crossed over, that Elijah said to Elisha, “Ask! What may I do for you, before I am taken away from you?”
Elisha said, “Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me.”

Did you see that? How Elisha ask, Elijah, before God took him home, to pour out a double portion of his spirit (God’s Spirit) on Him!

This is what Christ did for us. Before Christ went and sat at the right hand of the Father; He poured out a double portion of His Spirit on us all. Still not convince, look at this verse:

John 14:12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

When Christ left to go with the Father, He threw down His mantel, His precious Holy Spirit on us, and he did not stop there! Christ gave us all a DOUBLE portion of His Authority!

Today, firmly grab hold of the authority that God has placed in your hands! Pray with Faith in boldness, lay hands on the sick, and cast out demons. Stop walking around defeated, and know who you are in Christ! Be Bold as a lion and meek as a sheep!

Heavenly Father, I come to you in MIGHTY and POWERFUL name of Jesus! Lord, when you went up to be seated by the Father; You left us with a double portion of Your power, who is the great Holy Spirit! Lord, I take up the mantel and step forward in the boldness, You have declared for us all to walk in. According to, John 14:12 which states, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father."

Lord, I thank You that through Faith in You, I can pray with boldness and authority; and never have to coward down. Because I serve the " GREAT I AM"! In Jesus name I pray, Amen

Pillar of Salt Syndrome

What in the world are looking you back for? Your past? What you could have, should have done? Hurts? Let me start with a story about Lot’s wife. For those that do not know this story or need just a little reminder, do you remember the woman who turns into a pillar of salt? Lot`s wife was a woman in the bible who turn into a pillar of salt, because she looked back at her past. Lot`s wife was warned by angels, to not look back at the city of Sodom and Gomorrah where she and her family had once dwelt. God had sent angels to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. Sodom and Gomorrah was a city ruled by sexual perversion and every other sin in the book. Therefore, God sent two angels to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. But First God brought Lot and his family out of the city that their life might be saved.

Let us fast forward to Lot’s wife. Now the angel of the Lord specifically warns lot’s family to not look back as the city while it was being destroyed. However, Lot’s wife chooses to look back and she h…

What is the purpose of life ?

One thing I am learning in life, is don’t waste anymore time! All that time and energy I have wasted complaining about things I can not change, can be time and energy well spent moving forward!

Keep pressing in, it does get better, if you just keep moving forward in Christ❤️

Philippians 3:12-14
Pressing Toward the Goal
12 Not that I have already attained,or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. 13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Raising my children in Christ

What a blessing to be a mother and the opportunity to raise my children in Christ. Daily I am teaching my children that God has called us Christians to be the light in this world of darkness. To do good even in the midst of evil. To choose to serve God, even when family and friends choose to do otherwise.

We are in the last days here on earth and the returning of Christ Jesus draws near! I want to see my entire family, ready for His return. The Bible teaches we do not know the day or the hour but we do know the season. We are to stay ready!

Daily, as a family we dig in this word, and daily we renew our mind. If you have children keep sharing this gospel, keep praying for them ! God has a hold of their hearts.

Scripture reading for today...

Psalm 89:15-16  (NKJV)
15 Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound!
They walk, O Lord, in the light of Your countenance.
16 In Your name they rejoice all day long,
And in Your righteousness they are exalted.
